To understand the attributes of Allah Subḥānahu wa Ta’ālā, we must begin by truly knowing Him. We often say that we love Allah, but real love is not just in words—it comes from recognition and understanding. How can a heart love someone it does not truly know?
The first step toward this love is learning His names and attributes. When we begin to understand who Allah is, His mercy, His power, and His wisdom, our connection with Him becomes stronger. And with that understanding, true love for Him naturally grows in the heart.
