Allah Subhanahu wa Ta‘ala says in the Qur’an:
Those to whom We have given the Book recite it as it ought to be recited.(Al-Baqarah 2:121)
This verse makes it clear that the recitation of the Qur’an has rights upon us, like Pronouncing its letters correctly, observing their proper characteristics, following the rules of recitation, and reciting with clarity, care, and proper rhythm its due in recitation.
